tonii community has a 💚 to socially responsible procurement with themes such as sustainability, circularity and social return.Â
Following on from our MVI symposium 'Inspiring sustainable behaviour' that we organised in spring 2019, we think it is important to promote sustainable behaviour. And why not start with the clothes and sneakers you wear and the coffee you drink? We would therefore like to recommend the following sustainable companies to you - based on personal buying experiences:
MUD Jeans sells and leases circular jeans! From my own experience I can say that the quality is really top notch and the jeans still look like
new, even after being worn often. I highly recommend this brand! Click on the MUD Jeans logo to go to their website for more information.Â
Wakuli is a startup in fair and sustainable coffee! Last year, in January, they did the Instagram takeover of the tonii community for a week. The
tonii test was also all about Wakuli, with Daphne winning an honest coffee package. As for the coffee itself: top!
Start up easyessentials focuses on circular t-shirts. These can be worn on cool days under a shirt. And when the temperature is a bit higher as a nice t-shirt. Based on my own experience (I have several) I say: this is not just any t-shirt!Â
Â
I am very enthusiastic about the beautiful circular shirts that SKOT makes and sells through their webshop. Fine quality made of organic cotton. Fit and feel are top notch. From now on I only want to buy a shirt at SKOT! SKOT focuses on men by the way.
Under a pair of jeans by MUD, with a shirt by SKOT and a t-shirt by easyessentials you should of course wear a sensible trainer. We gladly recommend KOMRADS: a great looking shoe with an excellent fit that fits comfortably on the foot! I have three pairs of these now... :-)
